After 22 years of ownership, Dave and I have decided to pass the torch! It is bittersweet for us, as we have been surrounded by many of the best people, who have become like family to us over the years. We have raised our 3 kids here…Trev was only a couple months old when we purchased Belden from the Bronsons. Now, our youngest is set to graduate high school this year, which will mean our kids will be spread over this vast country of ours. Trevor is currently in North Carolina pursuing a degree in Golf Course Management, Drew is in his 1st year at Buffalo playing football and pursuing a degree in Sports Management, and Maggie has commited to play basketball at Oregon State, with plans to pursue a business degree.

We could not have been successful without the help of so many and we will be forever grateful. We have had some amazing staff, who have treated our customers like family. Hopefully you felt right at home when you visited! We would also like to extend a BIG thank you to all of our friends that became “staff” at the drop of a hat when they saw a need for help. Many of our members have become close friends to us over the years and we feel so forunate for that too. Everyone’s loyalty to Belden Hill over the years has helped us to grow and be successful. We just can’t thank ALL of you enough!!!

Dave and I plan to be around next year to help make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. The new owners, Mike and Jen Decker, are close friends of ours; we have worked with both of them in the past. They are hard workers and we are confident that they will continue to make Belden a top choice for golfers in our area. Mike and Jen are a good inside/ outside duo, similar to Dave and I. We feel that with their work ethic and fresh, new ideas, Belden will continue to improve each season. The Deckers are really good people; we feel they will be a great fit. We have enjoyed our time at Belden and plan to help them continue to make it a special place for all. Our hope is that you will continue to support them too! Mike and Jen will be taking over with the help of their daughter and son-in-law. This coming year they plan to keep things just as they are and we plan to help make that all happen. They will be taking over at the beginning of the 2026 golf season, but will also be stopping by the rest of this year to help out and get their feet wet.

We thank you again and hope that you will continue to choose and support Belden Hill. Dave and I will look forward to more time for some golf and family. We will spend a bit more time down at Chenango Commons now too. It has been a busy 22 years, jam-packed with so many memories and changes to Belden over the years. Thank you for your trust and support…we couldn’t have done it without you!
